The Forest

The woods are lovely spooky, dark and deep...

The mist has not lifted.

The trees are still.

There's not so much as a bird singing or a fox trundling through the undergrowth.

Even the paths seem to lie in waiting.


Deep in the forest is The Tree.


If you think you know where it is...you don't.

"maybe?" It's unclear whether he's answering Olivia or Enzo at this point.

"....am i in a tree?"

[flip_the_lights]

"Yeah." Not unkindly. Olivia scrubs the back of her hand over one of the dirt smudges on her cheek. "And you're injured enough that I think it might be a good idea if we help you down."

She glances to Enzo and Dani as she says the last.

"Aye, dinna think I can do much to aid ye just yet," After the throwing star is out then he can do more.

[ami_imperfect]

"Okay." Her hand remains on his arm, but the other one moves to the throwing star. She turns it intangible before phasing it out of his arm.

"There. Got it."

[mnt_mike]

"i'm all sticky," he says to no one in particular. "what is this? It...ugh gah."

Someone should really learn not to use taste as the go-to sense for new things.

[flip_the_lights]

"Don't eat it," says Olivia, a bit sharper this time. It sounds much closer to her Official FBI Agent voice than before. "It's a neutralizer. I don't know how toxic it might be."

Lower, to Dani: "Can you go and get him down?"

That's one of the odder ways that Will's had something taken out of him and he makes a bandage with his shirt,

"Go on an aid 'im if ye can."

"it's not like is going to give me cancer," he says to no one in particular. "i'm already radioactive."

There's an edge to Mike's voice that doesn't usually exist. This is the surest sign that he's not doing well. Not at all.
It's hard for him to breathe, and while there's far too much blood for him to immediately tell what's wrong with his arm, he knows it's not good.

Enzo frowns. "Maybe I should check him out quick before you bring him down," he tells Dani, offering her his hand.
