Slender Man is a tall, faceless entity in a suit. He is of unknown origin, purpose and motivation. He is known to stalk his prey for days or months until he attacks, and survivors are few. He tends to drive his prey insane before the final attack--some become his proxies, some simply disappear before their bodies are found.

He might be an Eldritch Horror. He might be an embodiment of fear. He might be powered by belief; he might be trying to create as much fear of himself as possible to bring himself into reality.

And he's standing right behind you.
